• Basically, The External model is having more and more texture and geometry detail added, this includes details that were not present on the LERX Spoiler, Aux ECS Intake Doors, etc etc.
• While at the same time working on a few extra animations (Wing Flex, Vapor Etc), once those are done and the templates are all updated, I'll Re-Export the F and G Models (E,F,G are all in the same Profject File and I hot swap the E,F,G Specific Meshes out easily as a Group), 
• And Re-Export all of the Livery Textures w/ New Details Added.
• Then work will begin on Damage Textures/Meshes and Collision Shell and Damage Model Settings for AI.
• As well as Going back and working on new External Stores Models (Fuel Tanks, ARS, ALQ-99 Etc)
• At this point, I'm still planning to have a Super Hornet Tanker and Possibly F/A-18E/F Block III/IV Advanced Super Hornet (w/ CFT's and EWP). But at this time the Tanker Code is Locked and not usable without hot linking Aircraft to a DCS Tanker, which I simply do not want to do.
• I'd Also Like to Remind users, this will be a self contained AI Only Module, not a Hot Linked "Make Flyable" and for those considering making it flyable w/ another aircraft's cockpit, there will be an integrated protection to prevent such adjustments.

Today's mission is a multiple engagement dis-similar air combat training or DACT hop. Your first opponent is a German F-4E from Luftwaffe JG71 based at Wittmundhafen Air Base. CHEVY 1-1 will be flown by Hauptmann Alex Becker. Your second opponent is another German F-4E from Luftwaffe JG71 based at Wittmundhafen Air Base. DODGE 1-1 will be flown by Hauptmann Sebastian Keilen. This mission will test your BFM skills against dis-similar aircraft with different performance capabilities. We will be operating within the NTTR and using the COYOTE ALPHA, BRAVO, CHARLIE and DELTA ranges. You will perform RANGE CHECK-IN, CHECK-OUT, FENCE-IN and FENCE-OUT calls. I will instruct the G-AWARENESS test. DARKSTAR will provide GCI. The Hard Deck Restriction is in effect at 100' AGL. Do not break the Hard Deck or you will fail the engagement. You can call TERMINATE at anytime to end the engagement. Maintain 300 knots ingress to the range to ensure you have enough fuel for ACT and RTB. Don't forget to enable your external fuel and pylon switches or you will have a very short flight. You are authorized to drop your tank when empty. I'll be monitoring your comms and attack techniques. Good luck!

La OTAN informó a España de la presencia de un caza Sukhoi que se aproximaba a España desde el norte de Europa. Dos F-18 del Ejército del Aire salieron a su encuentro en el Cantábrico. La aeronave rusa llegó hasta el área de Rota y retomó el camino de vuelta. Fuentes militares han relatado a El Confidencial Digital los detalles de la operación ‘scramble’ del caza ruso y las sospechas sobre lo que hacía tan lejos de su base. 18/NOV/2016: Release of DCS World 2.0.4 with DCS: NEVADA Test and Training Map Extension Pack. Today we will be releasing the next update to DCS World 2.0, version 2.0.4. The primary addition to this update is the inclusion of the Extension Pack for the DCS: NEVADA Test and Training Range map. This extension includes 13 new airfields and several new cities and towns. One of the new airfields is Tonopah Test and Training Range airfield, that was home to the “Red Eagles” flying Russian-developed aircraft and the F-117A “Stealth Fighter” wing. This is a FREE extension pack to owners of the Nevada map. Enjoy! If you do not already own the Nevada map, you can purchase it In the DCS E-Shop. View the new Extension Pack airfields in the video. NOV-16: As with the DCS World 2.5 update, it was also decided last week that the Hornet Early Access will be pushed beyond our original desire to release by the end of this year. As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, we are now very busy coding the various cockpit systems and flight dynamics. However, as this work continues and we acquire new information, the level of complexity has become more apparent and it will take more time than first estimated. When we do have significant news on the project to share, we will certainly do so. Once the Early Access for this project goes into pre-purchase, we will announce its release date then. (NOV-16): We have determined that the DCS World 2.5 update will not be available in 2016 as we had earlier hoped. This is mainly due to additional work needing to be done of the Caucasus map update, and we don’t feel it can be accomplished within the next two months at a high level of quality. Before we can complete this map update, we first need to finalize and release both the Nevada map update and the Normandy map. Those, along with the Spitfire, are now our highest priorities. Once the Nevada update and the Normandy map tasks are complete, our map team can return to the Caucuses map and move the 2.5 closer to an Open Beta release. Actualmente estoy desarrollando en DCS World una misión para simular los trabajos en tierra dentro de una gran base aérea como Nellis AFB, es decir, controlar los despegues y aterrizajes de los diferentes aviones así como da cobertura a la seguridad de la base y otros menesteres. Para ellos deberás tener el modulo Combined Arms. Primero voy a trabajar en una primera versión básica (v1.0) en la que únicamente conducirás un vehículo Humvee y podrás activar cualquier vuelo aproximándote a el (sin llegar a chocar). Posteriormente intentaré desarrollar otras versiones mas complejas donde tendrás que cumplir ordenes y tareas especificas llegando incluso a contar el tiempo empleado en realizarlas. Misión muy completa e interesante para entrenamiento de ataque a tierra con el Mirage 2000C en el escenario de NTTR de la Open Alpha. En esta misión se practicará la comunicación con el jefe de tierra para armar el avión antes del arranque. Se recomienda usar bombas de propósito general MK-82 y de racimo MK-20. Ademas se tendrá que alinear el navegador inercial (INS) correctamente introduciendo las coordenadas correctas de posición inicial del avión en rampa ( N36.34.54 / W115.40.24 ) así como también se tendrá que programar un waypoint con las coordenadas del objetivo ( N36.51.07 / W115.26.12 ). Cambien se podrá coordinar un ataque con la ayuda de un controlador aéreo avanzado (FAC) oculto en la zona. Para ello podrá cargar alguna bomba de guía láser GBU-12 o similar.

Aquí tenéis 3 misiones para descargar (no jugables) donde podreis ser espectadores de un test de ataque Aire-Tierra (AG) para la Open Alpha de varios aviones manejados por la inteligencia artificial de DCS World. La misión consiste en que varios aviones del mismo tipo que estan desplegados en Creech AFB despegan secuencialmente y realizan rutinas de ataque a varios objetivos dentro del NTTR para probar las diferentes armas AG (Aire-Tierra) y ver su capacidad de precisión. Cada mision simula un entrenamiento para cada tipo de avion.

The F-15C 16-2 Red Flag Campaign is a depiction of flying the F-15C Eagle during a typical Red Flag exercise in the skies over Nevada. Combat Aircraft Flight Line Ops • Red Flag 16-1 Begins: Aerial Combat Exercise Red Flag 16-1 begins at Nellis AFB with footage of various fighter jets and supporting aircraft on the flight line taxiing and taking off. Red Flag is an annual event at Nellis designed to train pilots and aircrews in realistic combat situations. Aircraft from different countries, services, and squadrons participate in the exercise. Real Life: Draken International at Red Flag

ENE-16 – Over the past few months, Draken International has served the United States Air Force (USAF) as their newest “Red Air” aggressor force. Draken International, the largest operator of ex-military aircraft in the world, flew more than 200 sorties in support of the USAF Weapons School and the F-35 Joint Operational Test Team. Flying advanced Douglas A-4 Skyhawk fighter jets equipped with modern APG-66 radar, Draken is able to replicate numerous types of threat aircraft for training purposes. After a short holiday break, Draken will continue to work side-by-side with the USAF 64th Aggressor Squadron to provide support for testing, large force exercises and Weapons School operations. 

“Our goal is to provide professional, safe and highly capable adversary support to the men and women serving in the United States Air Force. The service Draken provides, in conjunction with the 64th Aggressor Squadron, permits front-line USAF fighter aircraft to focus on their primary training objectives while ensuring the crucial “Red Air” mission continues to be performed. This innovative solution guarantees that the USAF Weapons School, Red Flag and other training events receive all the adversary support required while still achieving considerable cost savings,” states Col. Terry Scott, a recently retired USAF F-22 pilot that now leads USAF Flight Operations for Draken. “Our maintainers, pilots and operations professionals are extremely proud to provide this valuable service to the USAF. It has also been a privilege to integrate with the 64th Aggressor Squadron to serve this role.”
