Tutorial: DCS F/A-18C - JDAM (EMPLEO BÁSICO)

En la versión beta abierta de esta semana, se agregará la opción de usar las municiones conjuntas de ataque directo (JDAM) para el modo manual (GBU-38, GBU-31 y GBU-31 (V) 3 / B. Esto permite el empleo básico a través de ambos Modos preplanificados (PP) y objetivo de oportunidad (TOO). Incluso en esta versión anterior, puede atacar fácilmente varios objetivos en una sola pasada asignando JDAM individuales a diferentes objetivos de misión de PP.

Situation:

On the 2nd of December 2018. Carrier Strike Group 3 sailed into the U.S Fifth fleets area of operational control, The Persian Gulf.  Shortly after entering the Gulf, one of the Pilots From VFA-151 (Vigilantes) Was overcome by an undiagnosed medical condition. The Pilot was medevac’d to Al-Dafra Air-force base and is unlikely to re-join the carrier air wing. You have been transferred from Naval Air Station Lemoore to integrate into the Vigilantes. 

During this mission, you will perform a FAM Flight (familiarisation Flight) Throughout the Persian Gulf AO. Rendezvous with Springfield, (flight of 2x F/A-18’s) They have been sent to escort you back to the Stennis. You will carry out Air to Air refuelling operations over UAE airspace before proceeding along the coast to rendezvous with the Carrier Strike Group Off the Coast of Oman. During this mission you will become familiar with the Real-World tactical situation in The Persian Gulf.

Tasking:

• Fly in formation with Sprinfield flight.
• Conduct aerial refueling operations.
• Stay in formation with SpringField during FAM Flight
• Perform Case 1 recovery aboard the Stennis.

An F/A-18C mission using the HARM AGM-88C missile. In this mission you can practice using the HARM AGM-88C against SAM radars. 

The previous day's raid over Fujairah International Airport severely reduced REDFORs ability to defend the area from further air attacks. Today's mission starts with you, Pontiac 1-1, launching from Al Minhad AB and proceeding west to destroy two SA-6 radars (6 on RWR) and one SA-19 Tunguska (S6 on RWR). A SA-8 (8 on RWR) is located in airport area although its precise location is unknown.

Updates: HORNET MINI UPDATES

We’ve already made many fixes for the next update. Some of these include:

• Corrected roll based on crosswind.
• Ghost SA contacts fixed.
• Adjusted Link-16 frequency to not conflict with TACAN and IFF.
• Unknown contacts no long longer have HUD diamond, denoting hostile.
• SA TDC now has highest rendering order.
• SA TDC and data values are now the correct, yellow color.
• Contacts that are ownship and donor hostile identified now have caret HAFU on HUD.
• NCTR can also now print targets from 30-degree rear aspect using JEM.
